Michelle Holdsworth, Research & Operations Manager joined Newfound in April 2010 and is integral to the day-to-day activities of the firm. She spearheads all candidate research, sourcing and job posting activity. Michelle is also responsible for maintaining the technology and database requirements of the business. In addition, she manages the website and our vendor relationships. Michelle is a graduate of Bryant University with a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Business Communications. Outside of work, Michelle is an avid fan of the Boston Bruins and enjoys cooking and baking.
Natalie Velasquez, Recruiting Associate, joined Newfound in November 2017 and works closely with Diane and the firm’s clients. Natalie is responsible for full service recruitment where she takes the time to fully qualify candidates for key positions in the Banking, Wealth Management and Non-profit sectors.
Previously Natalie worked on national retained search in the areas of Manufacturing, Distribution and Healthcare. Subsequently, she worked on local contingency search assignments for The Greysmith Companies with an emphasis in Accounting and Finance. She attended Bryant University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. Outside of work, Natalie enjoys traveling with her husband as well as learning about personal finance, investing strategies and real estate.
Christine Barry, Administrative Associate, joined Newfound in November of 2015. Christine is responsible for providing administrative support to the Recruiters with an emphasis on research activities. She attended Framingham University where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. Outside of work, Christine enjoys relaxing on the beach, kayaking and spending time with her family.
Diane McGwin is the founding member of Newfound Associates and has been actively involved in the executive search business for eighteen years. Prior to starting the business, Diane worked for eight years with The Bray Group, a Massachusetts based executive search practice primarily focused on retained search in the financial services industry. Her prior banking experience and contacts spanning over twenty years has been integral to the success and growth of the firm. Diane has first-hand knowledge of the needs of the client as she has worked as a Commercial Lender and in various banking departments including Retail Banking and Operations at Citizens Bank, Baybank, Bank Boston and Fleet Bank.
Diane also has a background in the Non-profit sector as earlier in her career she was served in various roles for the United Way. In more recent years, she has volunteered in her local community of North Attleboro, MA. Presently, she is a member of the Massachusetts Bankers Association, SHRM Rhode Island, the USA500 Clubs (Great Woods Chapter) and is actively involved in various alumni activities at Bryant University. She holds an undergraduate degree in Education from Rhode Island College and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Bryant University. When not working, Diane likes to golf and spends time with her husband and her Bichon Frise on Newfound Lake.
Donna Woelfel, Administrative Associate, joined Newfound in January of 2010. She works behind the scenes doing marketing outreach for lead generation and other administrative activities for the firm. She attended Rhode Island College where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Accounting and upon graduation received an MBA from the University of Rhode Island. Donna resides in North Attleboro with her husband and two boys. When she is not at her sons’ hockey and lacrosse events, she enjoys exercising, cooking, travel and golf.
